About Medication

Why is taking my medication important?
Medications are an integral part of the medical treatment plan for acute and chronic illnesses. It is important to take your medications on time to maintain the therapeutic levels in your blood.
Many people, especially with chronic illnesses, are on at least 4 medications. Research have shown that people on 4 or more medications tend to be less compliant with medication regimen as this may be more disruptive to their usual lifestyles.
